Sandpiper Health’s expertise covers communications, public affairs, and research. Its client roster includes half of the top 20 global pharmaceutical companies, and medical device makers, healthcare providers, patient and caregiver groups, medical technology companies, as well as investors.
Both will report to Managing Director, Sandpiper Health, Robert Magyar.
The announcement comes as Sandpiper was also named Asia Pacific Large Agency of the Year by both the PRCA and PRWeek and Asia Pacific Medium Sized Agency of the Year by PRovoke Media in 2023.
Emma Smith, Chief Executive Officer, Sandpiper, said: “We are incredibly proud of the growth of Sandpiper Health and the great work our teams deliver for our clients every day. Eddie and Vincent’s promotions are in recognition of their dedication to our clients and people, achievements, and leadership ability. Technology is revolutionising the health sector and transforming patient journeys and outcomes at an unprecedented pace, and we are firmly focused on being a partner that is purpose-fit for helping our clients navigate the future of health. I look forward to working with them both as we expand Sandpiper Health in 2024.”
Eddie Morton, Deputy Lead, Sandpiper Health, said: “Healthcare is an ever-broadening church, where change is outstripped only by public interest and oversight. As communicators, evolving practice alongside innovation and change has therefore never been more crucial. Sandpiper is at the forefront of progressive healthcare communications in the Asia Pacific. It’s exciting and a privilege to help lead our diverse, world-leading clientele into that future.”
Vincent Pung, Deputy Lead, Sandpiper Health, said: “I am very proud of all the work that we have accomplished in growing and establishing our healthcare practice to what it is today. As the landscape of healthcare undergoes continual transformation to meet the diverse requirements of patients and communities, we too will keep up with the pace of change to ensure that we can always offer the best to our clients. This pace of change offers both opportunities and challenges and I am focused and excited to help us navigate 2024 and beyond.”
Sandpiper Health is joined by Sandpiper Communications and Public Affairs and Sandpiper Research & Insights in the Sandpiper Group.
