This includes 17 years as Regional Chief Financial Officer, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa with the world’s largest public relations firm, Edelman, where he helped grow the region’s fee income more than 18-fold during his tenure with the firm, and as Chief Operating Officer, International for the world’s second largest independent marketing and communications agency WE Communications, overseeing operations for 12 offices across 8 markets.
He has managed more than 20 agency mergers and acquisitions during his career in markets as diverse as Australia, China, India, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
Genevieve has over 15 years of experience advising multi-national companies and government agencies across the technology, telecommunication, media and tourism sectors. She provides strategic counsel to clients on managing their corporate reputation and developing multi-faceted public relations programmes to support their sustainable business goals.
She previously held senior roles at a global public relations agency where she led teams responsible for some of the firm’s key clients in Hong Kong and Singapore. Rasheed Abu Bakar is an Associate Director based in Sandpiper’s office in Singapore. He has over a decade of experience in developing and managing communications programs for clients across the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining Sandpiper, Rasheed spent eight years at a multinational agency spearheading their footprint in Asia, specifically in Indonesia and Singapore, helping companies navigate through the intricate and highly nuanced region. He has provided high-value strategic communications, public relations and public affairs counsel, and crisis communications to companies like Google, PayPal, Neste, Lockheed Martin, MARS, and The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.

Before joining Sandpiper, she was head of press and public affairs at a leading and influential healthcare think tank, The King’s Fund. She has also held senior B2B and B2C marketing roles for financial data and AI company, FinQuest; LinkedIn marketing company, Black Marketing; and digital media trading platform, Brandscreen. Benjamin is an accounting, operations and finance professional with more than seven years professional experience in financial reporting and advisory. Prior to joining Sandpiper, he was the Senior Manager for financial reporting for a non-bank financial institution. Prior to this he led the audit of various multinational corporations listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, the Bursa Malaysia, and Singapore Exchange during five years with Ernst & Young and KPMG.
With a passion for technology and innovation, Benjamin oversees the identification and implementation of new technologies for Sandpiper across the region to optimise business and client service efficiencies.
Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce Degree specialising in Accounting & Economics, Monash University, Australia. He is a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and a member of CPA Australia.

Before joining Sandpiper, Steve was Managing Director, Asia Pacific for BGC Partners’ Fenics Market Data business based in Singapore and prior to this, he was Country Manager for Greater China at SmartStream Technologies, relocating to open the company’s first Hong Kong office in 2014.
He also spent 10 years in Hong Kong and Singapore, leading Asia sales and client services for the Interactive Data Corporation (now ICE Data Services) and has held senior commercial roles at Refinitv, PORTIA and Asset Control.

A dynamic and highly creative Creative Director based in Singapore since 2012. Originally from Sweden and with extensive experience working with high-profile publishers and agencies in London and Dubai, Fred’s work has been recognised with 20 international design awards.
His creative approach to digital and print projects is to deliver groundbreaking, audience-focused design at the heart of everything. He began his career as a journalist and layout artist for a leading newspaper in Stockholm before relocating to London to work for the Financial Times. In 2001 he moved to Dubai where he was responsible for more than 15 monthly consumer magazines as well as a book division.
In 2012, Fredrik arrived in Singapore where he joined a content agency as creative lead, responsible for design, photography and video, working across 360 marketing campaigns, print, web, mobile, and social media.

Regional HR Business Partner
Natalia is the Regional HR Business Partner based in Sandpiper’s office in Singapore. She has extensive experience across the full spectrum of HR functions covering the end-to-end life cycle of an employee in multinational organisations.
Prior to joining Sandpiper, Natalia was in the creative industry and worked for a corporate services company. In both roles, Natalia was the first HR business partner and took charge of the HR department being the only sole contributor in the function. She was part of the management team which was involved in the rebranding and global alignment, working with different HR teams in implementing processes for the future of Talent Management globally.
Throughout her career in the industry, Natalia has undertaken HR operational support, overseeing and managing HR operations and at the same time working with the global HR team to create, design and implement global initiatives for Asia.
