Regional Marketing and Editiorial Manager Sandpiper, Kuala Lumpur

Sandpiper, one of the fastest growing reputation and policy management consultancies in the world, is seeking a talented and entrepreneurial individual to join our regional marketing team as a Regional Marketing and Editorial Manager based in Kuala Lumpur.  The successful candidate will be based in Malaysia and will also support offices across the Asia Pacific and Middle East region.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced, energetic, creative, and proactive Marketing professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a marketing or digital communications role with strong research and writing skills. A self-starter who thrives in a highly empowered environment. 

Roles and Responsibilities

On a general level, you will be responsible for managing and executing Sandpiper’s Marketing efforts across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.  

  • Support the COO, GMs, and Practice Group Leaders to develop the Sandpiper marketing strategy. 
  • Be responsible for overseeing master brand editorial calendar and implementation of Sandpiper’s marketing strategy across all markets on time, within budget and to a high standard. 
  • Develop high-quality written marketing content for use in web assets, LinkedIn, eDMS, and more.   
  • Liaise with specialist teams including creative, web development, HR for the development of any visual or technical assets required. 
  • Maintain consistent branding, editorial tone, and community engagement across all external marketing channels. 
  • Manage digital properties and CRM by liaising with our partners and vendors to ensure consistency. 
  • Provide monthly tracking, measuring, reporting of results of the marketing program back to key internal stakeholders. 

Requirements

  • Fluent in English with a bachelor’s degree or above 
  • Effective, responsible, and a high level of attention to detail 
  • Interest in and some knowledge of the financial services, technology, healthcare, and ESG space 
  • Knowledge of marketing tools and channels including web marketing (Google ecosystem, LinkedIn, WordPress, etc.), email marketing (Pardot, Brevo, etc.), design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.) LinkedIn, Google, CRM tools, etc. 
  • Knowledge of traditional and/or simplified Chinese is advantageous
