Regional CRM and Marketing Executive Sandpiper, Kuala Lumpur

Sandpiper, one of the fastest growing reputation and policy management consultancies in the world, is seeking a talented and entrepreneurial individual to join our regional marketing team as a CRM and Marketing Executive based in Kuala Lumpur.  The successful candidate will be based in Malaysia and will also support offices across the Asia Pacific and Middle East region.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an energetic, creative, and proactive junior Marketing professional who has a minimum of 1 year experience working in a marketing or digital communications role with strong research and writing skills. A self-starter who thrives in a highly empowered environment.   

Roles and responsibilities

You will be responsible for supporting Sandpiper’s Marketing efforts across Asia Pacific and the Middle East, including the production of content, management of marketing channels, and maintaining the data of the company’s CRM sales and marketing database.  

Content Marketing

  • Support the production of content including, but not limited to, insights articles, whitepapers, social media posts, press releases, and website content
  • Support with analysis and insights and the creation of reports and PowerPoint presentations, including conclusions and recommendations  
  • Share insights and findings with key members of the business 
  • Coordinate to manage the marketing content calendar to ensure timely production of content, input by cross-functional teams, and timely publication of content. 
  • Coordinate communications between marketing and consultant teams to ensure engagement and alignment with marketing strategy 
  • Support the production of content including, but not limited to, insights articles, whitepapers, social media posts, press releases, and website content

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Database Maintenance

  • Guardian of customer data and all associated legalities (GDPR compliance).  
  • Maintenance of database hygiene through partnership with team leads and executive leadership. 
  • Responsible for growing permission-based database by bringing together all data sources, ensuring single-customer-view, and maximising all opportunities for data capture. 
  • Monitor the success of all account-based communications through systematic testing and reporting, as and when required. 
  • Regular analysis of customer data to provide accurate customer profiling, insights and recommendations 

Social Media Community Management

  • Coordinate the publication of posts and escalation of stakeholder engagement, comments/message responses, etc. 
  • Help with the growing existing social media channels, namely LinkedIn, building brand awareness and increasing customer engagement  
  • Reporting on and ongoing optimisation of all social media activity, including advertising and sponsored posts.  

Direct Mail

  • Assist with the planning, production and reporting of all Sandpiper’s direct mail materials, including segmenting customer data for mailings  
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, compilation, layout, design image selection, proofing and distribution of all Sandpiper printed marketing collateral and ensuring projects meet all required deadlines 

Other

  • Working with the Operations and creative teams, responsible for the accuracy, maintenance of Sandpiper’s credentials 
  • To act as a member of the company wide crisis management team, including cover of social media channels, should the need arise.  
  • Other duties as agreed by your management team 

Requirements

  • Experience of producing and reporting on email campaigns  
  • Experience of using a CRM system  
  • Strong skills in producing and editing long-form, social media, and other marketing content  
  • Strong skills and experience managing customer data  
  • Strong analytical skills to allow for informed data-driven decisions  
  • Experience managing social media channels  
  • Excellent punctuation, spelling, grammar with a flair for creative writing  
  • Excellent attention to detail  
  • A passion for all Digital Marketing and new technologies  
  • Working knowledge of the following (or similar) tools/channels:  
    • Adobe Creative Cloud/Canva 
    • HubSpot 
    • WordPress 
    • Brevo  
    • LinkedIn 
    • Meta 
  • Highly organised with experience of balancing multiple projects  
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic and with initiative and creativity
