  • Formulates and implements policies on multilateral and regional trade and economic cooperation, handles relations with multilateral and regional trade and economic organizations
  • Organizes the implementation of Free Trade Area strategy
  • Leads other organizations in multilateral and regional trade negotiations as well as FTA negotiations with foreign countries and regions
  • Manages China’s economic and technical cooperation with UN and other international organizations
  • Manages multilateral or bilateral aid and donations to China (excluding grants by foreign governments and international financial organizations provided under financial cooperation)
