Functions:

  • Be responsible for budget allocations for industry, transportation, energy, commerce and trade, grain and material reserve, construction, emergency and other departments and related fields, and puts forward relevant financial policy suggestions
  • Handles the central infrastructure investment financial allocation, participates in the formulation of relevant policies, and formulates the infrastructure financial management system
  • Be responsible for the financial management of relevant policy subsidies and special reserves
  • Be responsible for the relevant work of three central enterprises (railway, post, and tobacco). These enterprises invest on the behalf of the State Council via the Ministry of Finance
