Functions：

  • Be responsible for official contacts and business cooperation between the PBOC and the international financial organizations, foreign central banks, and financial authorities in Hong Kong and Macao SARs and Taiwan
  • Coordinates opening of the domestic financial industry in accordance with the commitments made by the government when joining the WTO
  • Undertakes foreign affairs of the PBOC
  • Supervises operations of the PBOC foreign offices.
