  • Drafts and implements the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and other drug standards as well as technical guidance
  • Formulates and implements the drug registration system
  • Implements best practices for drug non-clinical studies and clinical trials and processing specification for TCM products; implements the TCM products protection system
  • Implements the classification management system, inspects the R&D sites and investigates and punishes relevant illegal acts
  • Develops the National Essential Drug List, and cooperates in the implementation of the national essential drug system
