Functions：

  • Establishes, adjusts, and implements the intellectual property protection system
  • Manages trademarks, patent infringement judgment standards, and inspection, appraisal and other relevant standards for protection and enforcement
  • Assists in the formulation of a national annual action plan for the protection of intellectual property rights; organizes related special actions
  • Manages trademark review, patent review, and invalidation
  • Protects official logos such as geographical indication of origin, layout design of integrated circuits, special logos, Olympic logos, and World Expo logos
  • Guides local intellectual property disputes, assists rights protection and dispute mediation
  • Regulates trademark registration, recognition of well-known trademarks, and patent application behaviors, and strengthens credit supervision of trademark squatting and abnormal patent applications.
  • Establishes a foreign-related response mechanism for intellectual property rights disputes, and undertakes the transfer of intellectual property rights related to national security.
  • Completes other tasks assigned by the Bureau
