Functions：

  • The China Science and Technology Exchange Center was established in 1982 with the approval of the State Council. It is a state-level institution for foreign science and technology exchange under the leadership of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
  • The center promotes scientific and technological, economic, and social development and exchanges between China and other countries and regions in the world through science and technology exchange activities, and contributes to China’s economic and social progress and friendship with people of other countries.
  • After 30 years of development, the exchange center has established cooperative relationships with more than 130 institutions and well-known enterprise groups in more than 40 countries and regions in the world, across the Americas and Oceania, Europe, Asia and Africa, and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
  • Exchanges play an important role in scientific and technological cooperation internationally, and in the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions.
