国际合作司

Functions：

  • Organizes and implements international cooperation and exchanges on ecological environment. Organizes participation in global land and marine ecological environment governance related work.
  • Studies and puts forward suggestions on issues in international ecological environment cooperation
  • Leads the organization of negotiations and international relations on international treaties
  • Participates in the handling of foreign-related ecological and environmental affairs and risk prevention, and undertakes the supervision and management of the domestic activities of overseas ecological and environmental NGOs
  • Responsible for liaising with the United Nations and other international organizations, as well as foreign governments and agencies of international organizations in China in relation to eco-environment cooperation, and organizes participation in relevant international conferences
  • Undertakes bilateral and regional ecological and environmental cooperation affairs
  • Undertakes the ecological protection related work of the “Belt and Road”
  • Organizes international cooperation and exchange activities on nuclear safety
  • Guides the work of the ecological environment agencies stationed abroad
  • Responsible for the coordination of relevant organizations of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED)
  • Responsible for handling ecological and environmental cooperation and exchanges between Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan
