Functions：

  • Formulates foreign exchange and cooperation policies on culture and tourism for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan
  • Guides and manages cultural and tourism exchanges, cooperation, and promotion to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan
  • Guides and manages relevant cultural and tourism institutions abroad, and undertakes the management of foreign government cultural and tourism institutions in China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in Mainland China
  • Contracts Sino-foreign cooperation agreements on culture and tourism, and other cooperation documents.
  • Undertakes government, non-governmental, and international organizations’ cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation.
  • Organizes large-scale cultural and tourism external promotion and exchange promotion activities with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan
