Functions：

  • The Department of Duty Collection manages tariff-related policymaking and legislation
  • Proposes policies related to customs import and export tariffs, import/export-related revenue, adjustments to tariff items and rates, and negotiations with China’s trading partners
  • Proposes and implements tariff and fee regulations
  • Management of import/export tariff nomenclature, rules and certifications of origin and customs valuation
  • Handles bilateral and multilateral negotiations on the rules of origin
  • Manages duties and import tax reduction and exemptions, as well as anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures, safeguards and other tariff-related measures
