The Central Politburo of CPC 中央政治局

Functions:

• The Central Politburo of the Communist Party of China is one of the central leadership bodies of the Communist Party of China
• The members of the Central Politburo are elected by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The term limit Central Politburo members is five years. If the Chinese People’s Congress is held earlier or postponed, the term of the Central Politburo will change accordingly
• The Central Poliburo exercises the functions and powers of the Central Committee of CPC during the intersessional period of the Plenary Session of the Central Committee
• The leadership of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee strictly follows the resolutions of the party’s National Congress and the Central Committee and the principle of democratic centralism
