Functions:

  • Carries out food and drug related international exchange and cooperation
  • Carries out food and drug related exchange and cooperation with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan
  • Implements non-governmental international food and drug exchange and cooperation projects
  • Manages non-governmental visits to NMPA and its affiliated institutions
  • Organizes NMPA delegation visits and training overseas
  • Organizes international conferences and exhibitions, provides consulting services and organizes training and technical exchanges
  • Researches international food and drug policies
  • Conducts technical review related to registration of establishing representative offices in China for overseas non-governmental organizations
  • Conducts preliminary review on application documents for international conferences, overseas training and visits of NMPA and its affiliated institutions
  • Provides services related to passport applications (Exit & Entry Permit) and visa approval for overseas official business travel of NMPA staff members
  • Undertakes other tasks assigned by NMPA
