Functions：
- Participates in the Ministry’s informatization construction and e-government overall planning, annual plan and provide technical support
- Undertakes the informatization and e-government project construction commissioned by the Ministry
- Undertakes the operation and maintenance of the e-government platform and application system of the Ministry of Commerce, and provides technical support and services
- Participates in the drafting of e-commerce standards and rules in the field of domestic and foreign trade and international economic cooperation, and promotes the application and development of e-commerce and international exchanges and cooperation
- Constructs, operates, and maintains China International Electronic Commerce Network (the backbone network of the National Golden Gate Project) to provide a secure and reliable network operating environment for inter-departmental interconnection
- Constructs, operates and maintains China’s international economic and trade Internet
- Undertakes service outsourcing business and disaster recovery backup business
- Undertakes research, promotion and application of national e-government and e-commerce key topics
- Undertakes other tasks assigned by the Ministry of Commerce
