Functions:
- Researches foreign agricultural investment strategies, policies and countries, proposing opinions and suggestions
- Plans and improves foreign agricultural investment cooperation
- Takes on tasks related to joint meetings of foreign agricultural cooperation and perfects the agricultural investment management service system
- Studies international agricultural investment; participates in negotiations of bilateral investment agreements; handles negotiations and provides suggestions on agricultural investment safety review and dispute settlement
- Organizes relevant investment and trade promotion activities
- Develops multilateral and bilateral agricultural economic cooperation
- Manages agricultural international exchange and cooperation related projects
- Cooperates with agro-related international organizations and international financial institutions and take on the management of agricultural aid projects
- Undertakes other assignments entrusted by the Ministry of Agriculture
