Senior Account Manager - Healthcare

Our success is built on providing integrated communications and advocacy work on behalf of clients in sectors which we have extensive experience. We are seeking a talented and entrepreneurial individual with 4 to 7 years of experience to join the firm as an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager based in Singapore and working across Asia Pacific. A passion for healthcare is required and experience working in health advocacy is a distinct advantage, whether in-house or in agency.

We believe a deep understanding of the environments in which our clients operate is a prerequisite of providing gold-standard strategic counsel and campaigns that make a difference, particularly true for healthcare. We work with leading healthcare companies, including several of the world’s top pharmaceutical companies, providing strategic counsel and evidence-based thought-leadership programmes. We also work in other sectors including finance and technology.

Sandpiper has offices across Asia Pacific in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai and Sydney, and works with affiliates across the region.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a creative, energetic and experienced policy or public affairs professional to join our regional Asia Pacific team. We want all our colleagues to participate in shaping client strategies and contributing to the growth and management of the agency business in Asia Pacific.

Ideal candidates will have worked in-house, in agency or in government. But anyone with a demonstrable passion for healthcare will be considered. Experience of doing thought leadership work and a flair for creativity is also an advantage.

You will be a polished professional with impeccable written and verbal communications skills. Experience of having worked in Singapore would be preferred, but it is not essential. You will be confident overseeing client programmes, have good budget management skills, and be able to build strong relationships based on trust and respect.


• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Good interpersonal and presentation skills

• Experience of stakeholder management, policy, public affairs and strategic communications

• Responsive to client/stakeholder needs and capable of multi-tasking on multiple projects – managing priorities and meeting deadlines, while maintaining a high attention to detail

• Bachelor’s degree at a minimum (a plus if it is in related fields such as politics, English, journalism, politics, economics or business)

• Experience in the healthcare sector

• An understanding of government and stakeholder engagement
