Studies and proposes policy recommendations on major issues in housing and urban-rural construction<\/li>\n<li>Regulates housing and urban-rural construction.\u00a0Drafts laws and regulations on housing and urban and rural construction, technology development plans, and economic policies for housing and urban-rural construction<\/li>\n<li>Formulates the national standards for engineering projects and evaluation methods for construction projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervises and regulates the real estate market. Coordinates with relevant departments to organize and formulate real estate market supervision policies<\/li>\n<li>Guides urban municipal public facilities construction, safety, and emergency management. Undertakes responsibility for the protection and supervision of historic and cultural cities<\/li>\n<li>Regulates and guides the construction of villages and towns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undertakes responsibility for quality and safety supervision of construction projects.\u00a0Organizes or participates in the investigation of major quality and safety accidents<\/li>\n<li>Promotes efficiency of construction projects and reduces urban emissions<\/li>\n<li>Manages the housing provident fund<\/li>\n<li>Carries out international exchange and cooperation in housing and urban-rural construction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
