the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Basic Law of the Macau Special Administrative Region<\/li>\r\n<li>Drafts policy suggestions for Hong Kong and Macau<\/li>\r\n<li>Be responsible for working with the governments of the Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions<\/li>\r\n<li>In charge of legal affairs related to Hong Kong and Macao assigned by the State Council, and provides opinions on relevant legal issues involved in the implementation of the Basic Law<\/li>\r\n<li>Be responsible for guiding and managing business affairs between Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau<\/li>\r\n<li>Cooperates with departments and localities to promote exchange and cooperation with Hong Kong and Macau in economy, science and technology, and culture<\/li>\r\n<li>Participates in the formulation of policies on the management of Chinese-funded institutions in Hong Kong and Macau, and participates in the coordination of mainland enterprises and Chinese-funded institutions in Hong Kong and Macau<\/li>\r\n<li>Provides opinions, suggestions, and work assistance on matters raised by the central authorities in Hong Kong and
