against performance-enhancing drug use and other unfair competition acts<\/li>\r\n<li>Manages foreign affairs related to the sports industry, enhances cooperation with other countries and regions, especially with Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macao<\/li>\r\n<li>Organizes and participates in major international sports events, and assists the hosting of such events in China<\/li>\r\n<li>Supports research and development of sports technologies<\/li>\r\n<li>Implements policies governing the sports industry, develops the sports market, formulates criteria for sports businesses<\/li>\r\n<li>Examines the eligibility of national sports associations<\/li>\r\n<li>Undertakes other projects assigned by the State
