Be responsible for basic research on tariffs and international tax policies. Conducts regular analysis of import tax revenue and follow-up research on major tax policy issues. Studies regional and global trade taxation policies, and propose China’s taxation measures for the WTO<\/li>\n
Conducts research on fulfilling WTO tariff reduction obligations. Produces research, analytical reports and suggestions on the problems encountered in the process of fulfilling China’s tariff reduction obligations, and China\u2019s WTO negotiations on tariff reductions; assists in the review and consultation of the WTO’s trade tax policy<\/li>\n
Be responsible for research on regional tariff agreements. Tracks the progress of each bilateral and multilateral tariff agreement and the implementation of customs tariff rules in various countries, and produces an analytical research report<\/li>\n
Be responsible for development assistance cooperation, knowledge cooperation and personnel cooperation with relevant international financial organizations<\/li>\n
Proposes capital contribution plans, membership dues, and donations to international financial organizations, and manages various types of development assistance funds established by relevant international financial organizations<\/li>\n
Be responsible for Chinese directors, executive board offices of relevant international financial organizations such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Chinese directors, non-resident directors of relevant international financial organizations such as Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, New Development Bank, and other related work of foreign agencies<\/li>\n
Participates in regional economic cooperation mechanisms under the framework of relevant international financial organizations, including Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC), Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) economic cooperation, etc.<\/li>\n
On behalf of the Ministry of Finance, liaises, coordinates, consults, and cooperates with other multilateral agencies and participates in the formulation of international development assistance policies<\/li>\n
Be responsible for liaison, coordination and policy consultation with foreign governments and relevant bilateral development assistance agencies on behalf of the Ministry of Finance<\/li>\n
Be responsible for managing technical assistance projects of relevant international financial organizations<\/li>\n
Negotiates funding issues and establishes funding mechanisms for international environmental conventions, including the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Convention on Biological Diversity, the Convention on Desertification (UNCCD), the Stockholm Convention, the Montreal Protocol, and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) ), Green Climate Fund (GCF), etc .; Undertakes the coordination of clean development mechanism (CDM) related work, including participating in the work of the CDM Fund Review Board<\/li>\n
Cooperates with relevant international financial organizations to participate in the construction of the \u201cBelt and Road\u201d; takes charge of the related work of the Multilateral Development and Financing Cooperation Center<\/li>\n
Be responsible for the work related to the World Bank’s business environment report, takes the lead in coordinating the relevant regions and departments to deepen the domestic business environment reform<\/li>\n
Participates in the Ministry’s foreign-related work coordination mechanism<\/li>\n
